¹û¶³´«Ã½app ISD construction projects integrate sustainable design so the district’s facilities not only conserve resources through a reduced reliance on water and energy, but also enhance building occupant health and student learning outcomes.
Since 2004, all new schools and major renovations have aimed to achieve high green building certification ratings from and/or . AISD expects to have 64 certified green buildings by the end of 2028. This is made possible largely through the 2017 and 2022 bond programs that prioritize construction of healthy and sustainably designed schools.
