Pre-K at ¹û¶³´«Ã½app ISD—Early learning for ages 3 and 4

¹û¶³´«Ã½app ISD Pre-K offers safe, nurturing, dynamic environments for 3- and 4-year-olds at 73 campuses throughout ¹û¶³´«Ã½app. Pre-K years are a period of rapid growth for a child, and the key concepts they develop in the Pre-K classroom directly correlate to their future academic success.

¹û¶³´«Ã½app ISD offers Pre-K for 3- and 4-year-olds at schools throughout the city to help children develop the skills they need to succeed throughout their school career. Every Pre-K class is taught by a certified teacher who has been specially trained to work with young learners. The student/teacher ratio for Pre-K3 is 17:2 and the student/teacher ratio for Pre-K4 is 22:2.

Pre-K classes follow the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and use research-based curriculum. Pre-K academic lessons are interwoven with purposeful play and social activities. Schedules vary from campus to campus, so check with your child's school for specifics.

Our program offerings include Head Start and Dual Language (Spanish/English and Mandarin/English) are available at specific locations. Currently, a Montessori-style program is available at one site. Our faculty includes certified teachers and teaching assistants who provide individualized attention to every student.
